Collaboration model second edition with "VAINL ARCHIVE"
We are releasing the second collaboration model with "VAINL ARCHIVE,"
a brand that has continued to captivate the scene with a multifaceted approach rooted in street culture
and contemporary art since its establishment in 2009, based in Tokyo.
Kohei Ohkita, the designer behind "VAINL ARCHIVE," which offers apparel that blends into urban daily life,
has been observing the street from a unique perspective since the dawn of the Ura-Harajuku movement.
The collections produced, which reflect the ever-changing scene, have been highly regarded both inside and outside the industry.
Continuing the theme of "Street Knowledge" from the previous work,
this collaboration adopts the "WAVE RIDER 10," a key model in Mizuno's sports style, as the base model.
The design is inspired by the inorganic landscape of the city.
At first glance, this model features a tonal color scheme composed of dark tones,
but the upper is intricately constructed with subtle color variations and the use of different materials for each detail.
While it may appear as a large, inorganic mass from a distance, it actually represents the urban landscape,
which constantly changes its expressions, capturing a moment of essence visible within the inorganic.
